Yes—each piece is designed, prepped, cut, and finished by us. 

For our pre-made, ready-to-ship designs, what you see in the photos is typically the sign you will receive.

For all others signs, not exactly—and that’s the beauty of handmade! Wood grain, stain, and small details may vary slightly but we use the same materials for each sign as the ones you see.

You can order a custom sign through our online store.

For Jewel Wood the templates are pre-loaded into our store, you specify your customization selections before checking out.

For Crown Wood you begin by purchasing a Crown Custom Design Deposit in our online store.  

- After receiving your deposit, we will email you a design survey to learn all the design details you have dreamed up.  

- We may follow up with questions, communication can happen via text, email, phone calls, or zoom. 

- We will send design mockup options with prices. Once you select your design and complete your full purchase, we will start creating your one of a kind custom piece.

Yes—full payment is required before production begins.  

For custom wood, a non-refundable deposit is required for a design mock-up.  The deposit will be applied to your total due for the custom sign.

Same day changes are typically accommodatable.  

Small changes may be possible within 24–48 hours but are not guaranteed. 

Once production starts, changes are limited depending on where we are in the creation process.

For pre-made, in stock designs, we offer local pickup or shipping within 3 business days or local delivery within 5-10 business days.

Typical turnaround for Prime and Jewel Wood is 2-4 weeks, depending on complexity and current order volume. 

Turnaround for Crown Wood varies greatly and can be as much as 8-12 weeks depending on complexity and current order volume.

Sometimes! It depends on our current order volume and availability. Message us and we’ll let you know what’s possible. Rush orders will incur additional cost.

That depends on the level of sign you are interested in.  

For all of our Minors and Prime signs you can customize stain and paint colors.

With Jewel wood you can customize stain color, paint color, font, size, and add-ons.

When you want the full custom experience, Crown is where to look.  You can customize everything from the wood selection, stain, paint, font, size, shape, 3D elements, and add-ons.

We can wrap any of our signs in brown paper with twine and write a personalized note in cursive or print.  

Just message us after you place your order, this is included with the purchase of any sign from the Majors.

Because items are custom-made, we typically do not accept returns. 

We do accept exchanges of any pre-made, in-stock designs.

We will do what we can to resolve any issues and include mock-ups of our Jewel Wood and Custom Wood lines to ensure accuracy of custom work.

We offer private events (weddings, birthday parties, corporate events, sports fundraisers, school events, etc), and sometimes have "pop ins" where you can shop our current inventory at our shop.

We reserve the right to decline designs that don’t align with our brand or values or infringe on  copyrighted/trademarked  designs.

Once a proof is approved, we begin production based on that design and cannot guarantee any changes are possible once the design is approved.  All custom signs are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. 

 Colors may vary slightly due to screen settings and natural wood differences.  

We are a small shop—response times may be 24–72 hours
 

During busy seasons, turnaround times may increase but you will be notified in advance of any delays.

Indoor use recommended unless sealed for outdoor use
 

Avoid prolonged moisture or direct sun exposure
 

Wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth

Sealing helps, but weather, sun, and moisture will naturally wear wood over time and longevity depends on placement and exposure.

All designs created by JCW remain the intellectual property of the business and may be used for future listings, photos, or marketing. Purchasing a product from us is implied consent for us to share photos and videos of the process and products on social media or our website.
